My Dear Husband, Dick

My wonderful husband and best friend passed away on December 28, 2001. Please keep me and my family in your prayers. Life is very difficult without him. We miss him so, but realize we will be reunited one day. Thank you all for your prayers while Dick was ill.

Jesse VanValkenburg lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, April 1, 2001. Please pray for his mother and father, Donny and Rocky, his brothers and sisters, and the rest of his family and dear friends who are grieving at this time.

Jake David Lausberg lost his two year long battle fighting brain tumors on the morning of March 13, 2001. Please pray for Jake's parents, Harold and Traci, Jake's older sister, Tessa, his grandparents and great grandparents, and his extended family of loved ones and friends who dearly loved him. I wish to thank my wonderful family and friends who sent Jake cards and gifts, and God Bless you all for keeping Jake and his family constant in your prayers. I have found comfort in knowing Jake is in Heaven with Jesus. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." I am so thankful that Jordan and I have been blessed with life in the face of death. I prayed and asked God to give me a sign as to where I needed to be and what I needed to be doing. I awakened one morning with the answer. I knew I had to "give back" by helping others and in a few hours, "Help From The Heart" was created. When we needed help, we began searching for answers.
